Fukushima Anniversary Protest in Johannesburg

Greenpeace activists stage a silent protest on Johannesburg’s Empire Road. The activists, dressed in black and wearing protective masks with stickers, hold placards reading ‘Stop Nuclear expansion in SA' to oppose the ongoing secrecy within South Africa’s nuclear build programme and to urge the South African government to pass legislation that holds nuclear industry liable for any nuclear disaster.
