In 2003, Paulo Adario and fellow Greenpeace activists meet with communities from the Guajará river to discuss the creation of the Forever Green Extractive Reserve, in Porto de Moz, Pará state. The communities wanted to tell the loggers that this is their land; their forest and they want them out. There were more than a 100 people, half of them children and several pregnant women. These people did not want any trouble; they just want their land back.
