Greenpeace Brazil Campaigner, Paulo Adario has led a team that has worked from deep inside the Amazon rainforest for the last 15 year. Adario’s work exposed the timber industry as the first in a number of drivers of destruction in the Amazon. This has lead him to the Brazilian communities to show support, found illegal logging areas and even received a series of death threats. For his hard work the United Nations has honoured Adario with the "Forest Hero" award in New York.
