Blair pledges 'greener' government

Tony Blair has promised to deliver "greener" government, cutting environmentally damaging carbon emissions emanating from Whitehall. The Prime Minister said that the entire Government office estate would be "carbon neutral" by 2012 - with all emissions offset by measures such as planting trees which absorb carbon.
