Greenpeace position on Coexistence

Coexistence is the term used for measures to separate genetically engineered (GE) and non-GE crops and foods. But mounting evidence shows that coexistence is impossible and that GE organisms, which are living organisms, once released into the environment, cannot be controlled and will lead to genetic contamination.
