World Energy Outlook (WEO) 2008 for the first time takes the climate crisis really into account and develops two alternative scenarios. While Greenpeace welcomes this approach, the scenarios lack a long-term projection to 2050 and beyond. Both scenarios end in 2030 which makes it difficult to comment on their real climate impact.
