Late last night, the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) published three letters to Indonesian palm oil giant, Sinar Mas, on its website, which state that the company has repeatedly violated the RSPO’s core Principles and Criteria. In the letters, the sustainability body demands the company to take urgent, corrective measures or face possible expulsion. After half an hour the letters were removed from the website.
