Report of leakage analysis for the Noel Kempff averted deforestation component.
Executive summary: The report produced by non-profit organization Winrock International, with The Nature Conservancy, made a number of conclusions with respect to leakage at the Noel Kempff protection areas. In particular "it is impossible to specify the extent of longer term leakage. The area is still relatively isolated with limited conversion taking place and therefore land use change patterns in the region are difficult to predict. Longer term assessments of the leakage should be addressed once land use trends in the region can be identified."
