The Spanish language version of the CEC report into maize contamination in Mexico that the US government has been trying to supress since its completion in June 2004. The report, written by the Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC) of the North American Free Trade Agreement (US, Canada and Mexico) recommends that all genetically engineered (GE) maize imports be labelled as such and that that all US maize entering Mexico should be milled upon entry, to prevent harm to its valuable biodiversity.
