It takes 90 years to grow a box of Kleenex. Isn't your nose worth it?
Kleenex®
  How May We Help You?

Thank you for your interest in KLEENEX® products. If you have a question about our products, like why we destroy irreplaceable ancient forests to produce disposable items, we'd like to hear from you. Please fill out the email form below, call us directly or send us a letter. Rest assured we won't share your name, address or phone number with anyone, especially our board members and CEO, the people at Kimberly-Clark that can make the real decisions. We have an entire department dedicated to ensuring your questions about forest destruction go unanswered in a thorough and timely manner.

We're passionate about our brands and often overlook the fact that beautiful majestic ancient forests like the Boreal in North America are being clear-cut for KLEENEX® products. We want to help you understand how we can claim to protect ecologically significant old growth forests yet in reality continue to buy fiber from companies that log intact and ecologically important Boreal ancient forest in North America.

We recommend reviewing kleercut.net to learn more about KLEENEX® products' role in this destruction. This may help you understand how Kimberly-Clark has not made any real commitments to using more recycled content in its KLEENEX® products to help save ancient forests, and answer your questions more quickly about our irresponsible business practices.

Please understand that we cannot accept ideas that reduce our role in ancient forest destruction.

Below are suggested answers that you could submit to the U.S. Kleenex customer service department (just copy and paste) or you could write your own personal message. We are directing the mail to the U.S. as that is where the international headquarters of Kimberly-Clark, Kleenex's parent company is located and it is where key global decisions like committing to using more recycled content in KLEENEX® can be made.

Suggested Message 1:

Dear KC Customer Service Representative,

I am writing to express my concern over Kimberly-Clark's role in the destruction of ancient forests like the magnificent North American Boreal forest to create disposable tissue products.

I encourage Kimberly-Clark to take real action to stop ancient forest destruction and use more recycled fibres in its products. If your company can make a tissue that limits the spread of the flu, certainly it can make a tissue that doesn't flush old-growth forests down the toilet.

Until that time, I will no longer buy Kimberly-Clark tissue products.

Sincerely,

Suggested Message 2:

Dear KC Customer Service Representative,

I am writing to express my concern over Kimberly-Clark's role in the destruction of ancient forests like the magnificent North American Boreal forest to create disposable tissue products.

The ancient North American Boreal forest are essential in fighting global warming pollution and providing a home to wildlife like caribou, wolves, eagles and bears and 30 percent of North America's songbirds. I cannot understand why Kimberly-Clark chooses to continue to use fiber from the destruction of these ancient forests - it is irresponsible!

I will stop buying Kimberly-Clark tissue products until Kimberly-Clark commits to stop using pulp from ancient forests and produces tissue products with a high post-consumer recycled content.

Sincerely,

Suggested Message 3:

Dear KC Customer Service Representative,

Please stop using pulp for Kimberly-Clark tissue products from the destruction of ancient forests like the magnificent North American Boreal forest.

There are few remaining ancient forests left in the world and there are global treasures that need to be protected.

I encourage Kimberly-Clark to become a responsible company and use significantly more post-consumer recycled content in its tissue products to help stop this unnecessary destruction.

Sincerely,
