Nick Cobbing won second prize in "Picture of the Year" for his work during the Greenpeace expedition to Greenland in the summer of 2005, in the category "Science and Natural History".
The melting and freezing of the now fragile Greenlandic ice creates the
unique features and colours displayed in these photographs. All
photographed from the air. It is predicted that sea-levels may rise by
6.8 Metres were the Greenland Ice-cap to melt completely.
