According to conventional wisdom (oh all right the tabloid press to be more precise) all teenagers ever think about are themselves. So it may come as a surprise that a global survey of almost 50,000 teens released today reveals that they have many other concerns - and that they worry more about dangerous greenhouse gases than drugs, violence or war.

Governments meet in Bali this week to agree an action plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to stop climate change from inflicting severe impacts. The Rainbow Warrior is in Indonesia to add urgency to our call for climate action. Our activists have received vastly different reactions – on the one hand, they joined in a festive celebration calling for clean energy now, and on the other hand hung a banner at a coal plant as security guards fired shots in the air.

Before dawn this morning our activists occupied and took peaceful direct action to shut down a coal-fired power plant in Australia - locking onto the conveyor system to prevent coal from feeding the plant.
