A cargo of flitches, (squared logs) waits to be loaded on to the Vietnamese vessel Ha Tinh 06, on the Kumai River, adjacent to the Tanjung Puting National Park.The Ha Tinh 06 has been under suspicion of preparing to load an illegal cargo since February the 14th.The Greenpeace flagship Rainbow Warrior has been patrolling the mouth of the Kumai River,documenting the illegal timber trade. This presence has resulted in an effective blockade, preventing the Ha Tinh 06 loading.
