Greenpeace activists on a crane of the Electricite' de France's (EDF) 
proposed new European Pressurized Water Reactor (EPR) on the second 
day of action against the construction site. Thirty activists from six 
European nations halted the construction at the site, blocking the 
entrance with trucks and occupying cranes and other construction 
equipment. Greenpeace is demanding an immediate end to construction at 
both Flamanville in France and Europe's other EPR site at Olkiluoto, 
Finland, calling the plants dangerous, unnecessary and uneconomic.
