In the Mexican version of Silicon Valley workers in the electronics industry are suffering from the toxic chemicals used by major multinationals in the production process. We are campaigning the electronics industry to reduce its use of toxic chemicals and become more sustainable.

clothes designed by top Spanish fashion designers. It is organised by Greenpeace as a well-dressed wake-up call to the more grey-suited political types in Brussels, who later this year will decide whether or not to support European legislation that would lead to the phase out of the most hazardous chemicals and replace them with safer alternatives.

Actions against dumping of toxic warship Clemenceau in India.
Greenpeace activists demand the aircraft carrier Clemenceau not be sent to India for dismantling. The ship is full of asbestos, PCBs, and other toxic substances which Indian workers have to dismantle and dispose of by hand, in lethally unsafe and environmentally unsound conditions.
The Arctic Sunrise has been deliberately rammed and damaged by the Nisshin Maru, the factory ship of the Japanese whaling fleet. This video footage was taken from both our ships with Shane Rattenbury explaining what happened. In particular the second half of the footage, shot from the Esperanza, clearly shows events.
