Ancient forests are one of the planet’s vital natural resources. Thousands of years old, they are primary and old growth forests found in a variety of climates from temperate to tropical regions of the world. Some of the ancient forests under greatest threat are the ‘Paradise Forests’. These stretch from South East Asia, across the islands of Indonesia, on to Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands in the Pacific.
