Defining aquaculture practices that should be on a red list is a complex task. Every aquaculture practice on the Greenpeace International red list of seafood species, and many others, was submitted through a methodology with very specific criteria. By evaluating them through this methodology, it is possible to identify the most unsustainable ones that Greenpeace considers should be avoided (graded red).
