(Brief) Energy [R]evolution: A sustainable World Energy Outlook

In these times of economic crisis, the need to support Greenpeace’s ‘Energy [R]evolution: A sustainable World Energy Outlook’ takes on an increased impetus, as it shows how tackling climate change by investing in renewable energy systems and energy efficiency will also help stabilise the global economy. Since the publication of the first edition in January 2007, more countries are seeing the environmental and economic benefits provided by renewable energy. This second edition of Energy [R]evolution includes a detailed analysis of the transport sector, energy efficiency potentials, as well as a detailed analysis of the sustainable potential for bio fuels. Besides that, the new version took several new developments into account namely the enormous increase of the energy demand in developing countries.
