Taiwan Fisheries Agency protest

Kaoshiung, Taiwan - Greenpeace activists today protest in front of Taiwan's Fisheries Agency (FA) calling for efficient monitoring of Taiwanese-owned vessels, The activists displayed a banner saying "Too much talk, too little action" accompanied by flags of Panama and Vanuatu. The girl in the front holds a Greenpeace report. The protest is to point out that the FA have failed in its job to investigate the illegal ship carrier MV Lung Yuin. The Lung Yuin is destined to collect tuna from the Pacific Ocean for market shelves in Japan, Taiwan and the US. Read more
