Greenpeace and te Whānau-ā-Apanui today filed a judicial review challenging the Government’s decision to issue Brazilian oil giant Petrobras a permit for deep sea oil exploration off the East Cape.
This summer we are asking people to get out onto the beaches to collect more signatures for the ‘No New Oil’ petition, and to send a clear message to the Government: "Not on my beach. Stop deep sea oil drilling."
