We LOVE this initiative. Eyes Wide Open offers an invitation for New Zealanders who want to see a better future. It’s for people who see how serious climate change is. It’s for everyone who can see the benefits of taking action now to reduce New Zealand’s greenhouse gas emissions 40% by 2020.

This coming Wednesday, August 12th at 1pm, New Zealanders will pause for five minutes with woolly hats over their eyes.  We will then lift our hats together, showing that we will not have the wool pulled over our eyes about the possibilities for real action on climate change.

Where will this be happening?  Everywhere!  You can even join many people in the centre of your town!
