OVERVIEW OF CLIMATE CAMPAIGN

In December 2009 Governments from around the world will convene in Copenhagen to decide the steps that they will take globally to address climate change. This meeting may be the most crucial meeting in history.  The future of the climate rests with a strong positive outcome at Copenhagen in December 2009. The biggest obstacle to that outcome is the bad position of poor climate performing countries such as New Zealand.

New Zealand must commit to 40% by 2020 reduction target and support leading countries such as the EU to obtaining this outcome at Copenhagen. NZ are too close to the bad countries (Australia, Canada, Japan, US) in the negotiations however.
