Reports to: Team Leader
Hours: Monday to Thursday nights, 5.30pm to 8.45pm. Extra time is given for a weekly team starting at 5pm on Mondays.
Status of job: Part time
Remuneration: $16.00 per hour
OVERVIEW
This position is located within the Fundraising Team. The team’s key responsibility is to maximise income from individual supporters by inspiring and engaging supporters and building effective committed relationships.

The Fundraising team aims to ensure a cost effective, ethical and sustainable fundraising base to meet the needs of Greenpeace New Zealand.

As a member of the Phone Outreach team you’ll be using the phone to reach out to the public and our supporters all over the country. The Phone Outreach role is to communicate with passion, inspiring supporters and the public about Greenpeace’s work to protect the planet. All conversations are solution orientated, so that the individual can feel a connection between the giving of funds to Greenpeace and the achievement of positive change. Our supporters will leave the telephone call feeling inspired, knowing that they’re directly contributing to positive change. In addition, the Phone Outreach role is responsible for recording accurate contact and credit card or direct debit details for our supporters, so their support can continue.
The calling is done from our Mr Eden office and is supported by your Team Leader.
