This submission requests that ERMA decline the field trial application. Greenpeace opposes the release of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) into the environment due to the irreversible and unpredictable nature of GMOs which pose a variety of unknowable risks to the integrity of ecological systems and are known to contaminate conventional and organic production when released.
