<title>Greenpeace Canada campaigner fights rainforest destruction in Indonesia</title>
      <link>http://www.greenpeace.org/canada/en/press/press-releases/fight-rainforest-destruction</link>
<description>25 November 2009 (Jakarta)— A Greenpeace Canada campaigner joined other international Greenpeace volunteers today to shut down the export facilities of a major pulp mill operated by Sinar Mas owned pulp and paper company Asia Pulp &amp; Paper (APP) in the heart of Indonesia's rainforests. The mill is one of the largest pulp and paper mills in the world and Sinar Mass is one of the main drivers of global climate change due to its widespread role in deforestation of carbon rich rainforests and peatlands. The action occurs less than two weeks before the UN Climate Summit in Copenhagen. </description>
