"Storage of containers with "tailed" HFU is continuing at industrial sites of Ural Chemical Combine, Siberial Chemical Combine which are (sites) do not meet modern demands of safety".

From letter of Minister fo health fo Russian Federation №2510/8197-03-20:
“From the time of creating atomic industry in USSR there were accidents with HF6 release at enterprises dealing with enrichment Uranium isotopes at Angarsk ECC, Krasnoyarsk electro chemical plant, Siberian Chemical Combine. At present at Minatom’s enterprises in Sverdlovsk, Tomsk, Irkutsk provinces have a lot of depleted uranium stored in UF6 form which is contained in technological vessels stored in the open air”.
