There is a common idea that electric power produced by nuclear power plants (NPP) is much cheaper than the power from coal, and in the perspective – gas powered stations. Why is nuclear power supposed to be so cheap? To understand, what the components of the price of nuclear power are, we have to analyze the whole system of funding the nuclear energy industry.
