The GDA or the Global Day of Action is a global initiative of public engagement to address climate change. This year, people and organizations around the world will highlight the COP/MOP (Conference of Parties/Meeting of Parties) on the Kyoto Protocol that will happen in Bali, Indonesia this December 2007. In the Philippines, Greenpeace has been pushing the government to pass the Renewable Energy Bill to ensure safer and cleaner energy sources. With more people, groups, organizations, schools, the GDA on Dec. 8 will provide a louder voice to encourage a better, more climate-friendly future for our country.
