Solar Generation or youth for clean energy is a campaign to migitate and halt climate change (global warming) caused mainly by humans' activities.
Our activities in Thailand and other countries are organized by youth. Greenpeace provide information to youth
interested in global warming issue to together campaign to stop the use of dirty energy, the major cause of climate change, and push for the solution; clean renewable energy.

As a part of the TckTckTck campaign which is a global movement for a unified voice against climate change, the Solar Generation from all Thailand’s regions built “Climate Rescue Station” at Kangkrajarn Riverside scout camp. The participated students learned how to build an environmentally-friendly house (soil house) and how to produce renewable energies such as solar and wind.
On 28-31 July 2009, Solar Generation with Arun Wittaya School's Student Council and Academic Department of Thab Sakae Conservation Group organized a training for Solar Generation leaders.
Thailand On Air and Solar Generation, the youth group of Greenpeace today launched Green DJ project which aims to provide aspiring youth the skills of radio broadcasting of environmental information.
Makamtao subdistrict of Chainat province was chosen as one of the 14 areas suitable for building a nuclear power plant under Thailand's Power Development Plan. Therefore, Greenpeace Southeast Asia and Solar Generation were invited by Chao Phraya-Tajeen Motherland Conservation Group to provide knowledge about the impacts of nuclear power plants and to hold an exhibition of Chernobyl impacts and climate change impacts in an anti-nuclear concert by Caravan band at Wat Sing school on 14 June.
