A snapshot of the year that came to pass and the wonderful things that Greenpeace were able to accomplish would not have been possible if not for your generous extension of your time, skills and resources to help us make our vision of a green and peaceful future possible.
After all, the planet needs all the help it can get.
That's why in 2013, Greenpeace Southeast Asia decided to embark on a journey towards building a movement that would stand with us as we confront the greatest threats facing our planet today. Together, we have demonstrated that there is no force more powerful than connected, creative people who care.
Together we have showed the world what is possible by showing our unified voice that we want to create a global sanctuary around the North Pole, and ban offshore drilling and destructive industry in the Arctic.
Together we have stood to defend our oceans and pushed for fundamental changes to make sure that our seas will be able to give life and a way of life for current and future generations without causing harm to the environment.
Together we have gained ground in guaranteeing that the food we eat is free of genetic contamination in the Philippines.
Together we have demonstrated that progress can be had without destroying the forests of Indonesia.
And together we are working to ensure our right to speak our voice in peaceful protest.
A better world is the product of people working together to realize it. The future is ours to create if we have the courage to act now. Together.
