Gising Gising is a traditional Filipino dish blending minced meat with green beans in a spicy coconut sauce. Chef Tatung’s interpretation of Gising Gising, blends seafood and spicy coconut sauce with vegetables such as carrots, bell peppers and water spinach, which are rich in pro-vitamin A and available at local markets in the Philippines. Gising Gising, which translates to “Wake up Wake up”, signifies the spiciness of the recipe.
