Oil spill in Cavite

Children swim in the water in Rosario town, Cavite Province despite of the Department Of Health's warning on dangers to human health due to oil that contaminates the water. Diesel oil leaked off the shore of Rosario town on August 8 affecting 12 barangays in at least three towns. Greenpeace laments the serious ecological and health hazards caused by the diesel oil spill in Rosario, Cavite that has already damaged the marine environment and threatens the lives and livelihoods of communities in the affected coastal areas.
