“Zombies” storm the DENR office with a grave message on toxic pollution

On the third and final leg of the “Right-to-Know Water Patrol” expedition, Greenpeace together with environmental advocates--dressed as zombies--protested against the Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ (DENR) inaction on industrial water pollution. Just before the International Right-to-Know Day, the activists delivered a petition urging the DENR to establish a “Right-to-Know” system for chemicals, and adopt a policy to eliminate hazardous chemicals released by factories into freshwater bodies.
