THE POST:  Thailand Acquisition Coordinator


Position Summary

This position will be responsible for implementing the online lead acquisition and conversion projects for Fundraising team including administrative duties and support  for Greenpeace Thailand. The person in this role must be a digitally-savvy self-starter and excellent multi-tasker with stellar communication skills and professionalism.

As the Online Acquisition Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating digital fundraising initiatives and projects in order to meet organization needs. She/he has overall responsibility for digital fundraising output and provides perspective and leadership in the development of quality solutions.

A digital specialist familiar with all existing and emerging digital channels. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible, can-do, eager to learn and able to prioritize multiple ongoing projects and new daily tasks as they arise.                                                                                                                                                                                                       

This is a full-time position based in Bangkok, with a 1 year contract.

Key Duties

  • Responsible for  the  implementation of online acquisition fundraising programs in Thailand to recruit new donors
  • When there are any fundraising opportunities, this position will be deployed to projects: work alongside with Digital Engagement department, collaborate with creative unit, Marketing and Media unit to develop concepts in creating digital output.
  • Develop a relationship, cooperate and manage digital media partner, suppliers and agencies.
  • Develop effective cross-divisional relationship (integrated work and part of the engagement digital team) to aid successful fundraising growth of  Greenpeace Thailand
  • Work with fundraising team to achieve annual budget and KPI objectives by implementing digital fundraising strategies and programs to generate leads and online donations
  • Work closely with Telemarketing coordinator to ensure the sustainability of leads supply for lead conversion telemarketing programs
  • Monitor and review online acquisition programs performance monthly , produce analysis or finding reports and update as requested by regional online acquisition coordinator
  • Research, test and implement new initiatives and innovations in order to improve new fundraising techniques and implementation of innovative thinking for online acquisition
  • Any other duties required by Regional Online Acquisition coordinator, Fundraising  Manager and Deputy Fundraising Director.

Project Support

  • Support digital engagement strategy development and implementation for projects for lead generation and lead conversion purposes
  • Support and assist cross-functional teams in online marketing strategies
  • Support capacity for project teams to implement digital strategy
  • Contribute to integration of brand, project and audience strategy development.
  • Provide technical assistance as required

Educational Background & Fundamental Qualifications

Level of Education:

Bachelor’s Degree

Field of Study:

Minimum of 2-3 years of equivalent industry experience

Work Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience

  • Knowledge and/or experience in producing visual communications for diverse audiences, including managing the production of cohesive multimedia content packages for written, image, audio, visual, digital animation and data visualization content.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in using Microsoft Office package, digital and analytics tools: Google Analytics, Emailing solution, social media and media advertising tools
  • Knowledge and/or experience in measuring and tracking datas, and monitor reporting
  • Knowledge and/or experience in using image editing software and design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, flash, including experience in the production of images, composite images, info-graphics and data visualization is a must.        
  • Strong written and spoken English and Thai is required                                                                                                                                         

Desirable qualities and skills

  • Knowledge and experience in the online media industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of fundraising in the not-for-profit sector

WORKING HOURS

Normal hours of work for full time Employee will be forty (40) per week or (5) days in a week, at 8 hours per day excluding an hour lunch break. This will be from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30 am to 6: 30 pm. Ordinary hours of work may be varied as agreed between staff and the line managers.

LEAVE

A permanent employee will be entitled to the following leaves:

Annual Leave: 20 days

Sick Leave:  30 days

Parental Leave:  As per labor laws and Greenpeace policy

Long Service Leave: 2 months paid leave after 5 years of continuous service

Compassionate leave: maximum of 5 days for the death of significant others

SALARY

In determining salary offer for this position, Greenpeace applies its Salary Grading Process, taking into consideration the job description and applicant’s previous experience, and the organization’s salary grade.
