 Dear Greenpeace
activist,
The Rainbow Warrior is sailing into
Bangkok this weekend, and you're invited to come on board and meet
the crew!
Sign up to get your boarding pass to visit the Rainbow
Warrior. Join the thousands demanding an Energy
[R]evolution, call upon the Thai government to Quit Coal, Reject
Nuclear Energy and invest in Renewable Energy solutions to save the
planet and ensure energy security for Thailand.
The ship will be open between
10:00am and 4:00pm on Saturday 19th July, and Sunday 20th July.
There's an exciting prize for the person who brings the biggest
group on board so why not ask your family and friends to join
you.
Since arriving in Thailand last week
the Rainbow Warrior has been busy. Last Wednesday, Greenpeace
activists, joined residents of Prachuab Khiri Khan province to form
a human banner proclaiming 'Quit Coal' at Thapsakae beach.
On Friday, we visited Koh Larn
island where the first small wind farm is located. The 200 kW wind
farm provides electricity for about 100-120 households living on
the island.
We have many more activities planned
during this week. Stay in touch with daily updates by visiting the
Quit Coal
blog. Or come on board on the weekend and hear the
stories directly form the Captain and crew.
Looking forward to seeing you on
board the Rainbow Warrior, Dawn Gosling Fundraising
