Office Assistant (20h).

 

As the Office Assistant you are supporting the Office Director in handling, quality control and development of all administrative, financial and human resource related issues around the Slovak office.

 

Your main tasks and duties:

  • Office Management (office equipment, insurances etc.)
  • Implementation of simple accounting operations (dealing with invoices, cash book, preparation of the documents for our accountant etc.)
  • Administrative tasks related to human resources
  • Proposal and ongoing controlling of overall budget

 

Required competencies and skills:

  • Education in administration/finance/HR/controlling and/or relevant job experience
  • Fluent Slovak and English both written and orally
  • Advanced user of MS Word and Excel
  • Positive attitude towards the Greenpeace way of work and belief that the environment needs to be protected
  • Accuracy, reliability and detailed oriented skills needed for the administration part of the work
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal and organisational skills to support the day-to-day needs of the office

 

You should be a person that have sense of costs-effectiveness and is able to ensure that everything in the office works properly (from meeting deadlines up to printing machine maintenance).

We are offering a part-time position (20 hours/week) based in Bratislava with a flexible working time. Even if the job involves a lot of administrative work, no worries about the boredom, you never know what is waiting for you in the office full of passionate tourists, travelers, bikers, punks, vegan&vegetarians, poem writer, piercer and herbs planter.
