The Actions Intern will provide support to the Action Unit in all areas of its activities, and will work in both the office and at the Greenpeace equipment center.

Responsibilities:  research, coordination of meetings and conference calls, general administrative support, communications with activists and volunteers, travel arrangements, assistance with various projects including photo opportunities and direct communications as they arise, equipment prep and maintenance, and other duties as apparent or assigned.

Qualifications: ability to work independently, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, excellent written and verbal communications skills, strong research skills, computer skills, positive attitude, ability to work with confidential information, willingness to learn about and work with equipment and tools, good analytical thinking skills, commitment to protecting the environment, belief in non-violent direct action as a means of affecting change.
