As Ocean's intern you will be able to be part of innovative outreach and political campaigning to transform the way we manage our oceans and fisheries.

Responsibilities: internet research, assisting in team meetings, working full steam on U.S. and international oceans issues, from ending whaling to establishing new marine reserves. An interest in submersibles, community outreach, Alaska Native culture and history, GP ships, corals and sponges, and flogging regulators and policy makers will help make this position extremely fulfilling.

Qualifications: Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, ability to work in Excel, strong online research skills, the ability to work well independently, commitment to non-violence as a means of affecting change and enthusiasm for protecting the environment.
