This intern position will work directly with Greenpeace USA’s Director of Strategy on a variety of research and analysis projects. The Director of Strategy supports annual and multi-year planning and new initiatives and partnerships, as well as a range of special projects for organizational priorities.
Tasks for previous interns have included doing research on the 2020 US Energy Landscape, analyzing financial reports to identify potential cost saving opportunities, and liaising with prospective vendors.

- Strong research and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Ability to intern at least 4 days/week
- Basic knowledge of financial accounting
- Ability to conduct numerical analysis in Excel
- Skilled at conducting thorough desk research from a variety of sources
- Knowledge of environmental challenges and solutions
- Understanding of the relationship between non-governmental organizations (NGOs), governments, and the private sector
