Greenpeace's Development Department is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist the Supporter Care team and the Retention team.
The Greenpeace Retention team is responsible for the design and implementation of tests for new fundraising methods and techniques. The goal of the team is to dramatically increase the resources for Greenpeace campaigns by finding new methods and improvements on current methods of fundraising. Tests are designed by reviewing and analyzing data and then designing tests based off of perceived location of possible gains. Tests can involve everything from small changes to existing programs to the creation of large new programs. Tests require the ability to navigate through complex sets of data, the completion of repetitive tasks, the creativity to come up with ideas that have not been thought of before and the managing of relationships with multiple people in different departments.
The Supporter Care team handles incoming phone, email and letter correspondence from our donors, supporters, and the general public. The Supporter Care team also assists in the Development Department's fundraising objectives, especially the priority of donor retention. Feeding back information about Greenpeace and its activities back to the broader organization is also an important role of the Supporter Care team.
