Kumi Naidoo
International Executive Director
Born in 1965 and hailing from South Africa, Kumi Naidoo has been Greenpeace’s International Executive Director since November 2009. Born in South Africa in 1965, Kumi Naidoo became involved in South Africa's liberation struggle at the age of 15 when he joined the Helping Hands Youth Organisation (an affiliate of the South African Youth Congress). From 1998 to 2008, Kumi was the Secretary General and Chief Executive Officer of Johannesburg-based Civicus: World Alliance for Citizen Participation, which is dedicated to strengthening citizen action and civil society throughout the world. He has also been Global Council co-chair of the Global Call to Action Against Poverty since its inception in 2003.

When he accepted a job at Greenpeace International, his friends thought he was joking. But, nearly ten years later, Danny continues to prove his commitment to the organization as the Development Director.

David Barre
Communications Director
As Communications Director, David is at the forefront of relaying Greenpeace's messages out to the public, media, scientists and politicians. David has been with Greenpeace for over six years. In addition to working at Greenpeace USA, he has spent time working at Greenpeace International on a variety of projects.

Nathan Santry
Actions Director
Nathan began as a volunteer and canvasser for Greenpeace in 1988. His father first introduced him to Greenpeace as the two visited the Greenpeace store on the Fishermen's Wharf in San Francisco. He was immediately drawn to the video being shown on an old black and white TV. The video showed Greenpeace on the open seas confronting the Japanese whaling fleet with activists putting themselves between the harpooners and the whales. Right then and there, Nathan knew what he wanted to do with his life and years later, Nathan found himself in the Southern Ocean on a Greenpeace ship saving the whales and experiencing the action himself.

Director of Public Outreach
Britt is a seasoned leader, who has worked on a range of issues, and is excited to work on her core passion – protecting the environment. She has served as the Executive Director of Alley Cat Allies, Chief of Staff, Deputy Political Director and Training Director at EMILY’s List, Political Finance Coordinator at SEIU, and as a campaign and finance manager of several congressional campaigns.She has managed digital teams, grassroots training programs, communication teams, fundraising teams, and entire organizations.
