During the Greenpeace Semester, students have the opportunity to apply the skills they have learned in the
classroom during their Greenpeace campaign trip. Students spend time in class learning more about the
campaign, and planning for the trip experience.
The campaign trip is an opportunity for students to see first-hand what work is required for a successful grassroots campaign. Students travel for one week in the summer and approximately two weeks in the spring and fall to support a current Greenpeace campaign and work with people in different communities. Students further develop the skills they have just learned in the class, including organizing and campaign skills which can range from volunteer recruitment and training to getting media to cover an event.
The campaign and location varies each Semester. Students will find out details of the campaign trip after their semester begins. If you have any questions about the Greenpeace Semester campaign trip,
