A Paragorgia, also known as bubblegum coral, is pictured in this Greenpeace handout image. The bottom image, made by a remote-operated-vehicle, shows the coral on the sea floor in the Bering Sea's Zhemchug Canyon on August 8, 2007. The top image shows a close-up image of the coral on the deck of the Greenpeace support vessel Esparanza on August 4, 2007. It is the first recorded discovery of the species in the Bering Sea.
