Go Team Aurora!

Starting on April 5, a Greenpeace team will trek to the North Pole to lower a glass capsule containing the 2.7 million names of supporters and plant a 'Flag For The Future' onto the seabed. Part of an ongoing campaign calling for a sanctuary be declared around the pristine & uninhabited area surrounding the North Pole. Follow the story at www.greenpeace.org/northpole.

'Team Aurora' made up of Arctic ambassadors, Kiera Kolsen from Canada, Renny Bijoux from the Seychelles, Josefina Skerk from Sweden and Ezra Miller from USA holding up the time capsule with the "flag for the future". The team are about to trek to the North Pole to lower a glass capsule containing the 2.7 million names of supporters who wish to protect the Arctic to the bottom of the seabed.
