In the last 5 days, more than 50,000 people have sent a message to Walmart, Target, Kroger, Sam's Club, Safeway and Costco, urging the US retail giants to not sell rainforest destruction.
At issue is the Indonesian-based company Asia Pulp and Paper that has been destroying pristine Indonesian rainforests, the home of the endangered Sumatran tiger, to produce throw-away paper tissue products.
Here in the US, Asia Pulp and Paper is pushing its Paseo-brand of tissue products on to the shelves of major retailers. Greenpeace, along with more than 50,000 members and concerned citizens, are asking US retailers to not sell Paseo tissue products and help save the last 400 remaining Sumatran tigers in the world whose habitat is being destroyed.
You can join our call for action right now and send a message to Walmart, Target, Kroger, Sam's Club, Safeway and Costco to not sell Paseo tissue products.
