Anna Maria Caldara and Dave McNulty are just two of the thousands of people that live in the shadows of the Portland Generating Station in eastern Pennsylvania.  This plant is so dirty that the state of New Jersey sued the plant in order to force it to reduce its emissions and stop polluting the state’s air.

The Portland plant is causing 30 premature deaths and hundreds of asthma attacks every year.  Anna and Dave have been working alongside their neighbors and friends for decades to close this old dirty coal plant so that they, and their families, can breathe easier.

The EPA is set to announce emissions protections for the plant in the next few days.  Once that decision is made, every voice will be needed to push GenOn to shut down. Watch this video to hear Anna and Dave’s story, then join them at quitcoal.org to learn how your voice can help shut down this plant.
