The Greenpeace Expedition is one of the most exciting parts of the Greenpeace Organizing Term. The Expedition is a weeklong trip during which students meet with national and international activists. The trip offers an opportunity for each student to have a greater understanding of what is going on globally and how environmental issues affect many different communities.
Students in the past have traveled to Paris to take part in an international peace event, Germany to march with 6,000 people to protest nuclear waste, and Chiapas, Mexico to meet with the Zapatista community and learn about their land rights issues.
