Check out episode 26 of Completely Optional Knowledge, the podcast that answers questions you never knew you had. Some things in life are #CompletelyOptional — satisfying your curiosity doesn’t have to be one of them.

Fred Papon, from Australia, heard Shohini Ghose mention quantum teleportation in Episode 16 of Completely Optional Knowledge. That episode explored what would happen if a human travelled at the Speed of Light. We called Ghose, Associate Professor of Physics and Computer Science at Wilford Laurier University back to tell us more.

We find that teleportation is not only possible, it has happened – but it maybe a while before Dr. Spock pops into a lab teleporter. Meanwhile Fred, will have to keep using the floo powder to get around for now.
