Harvest sustainably ~ never pull or uproot a plant. Instead pick individual leaves and tips.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>A recipe by<\/strong><br>Delwyn Pillay<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cooking oil<\/li><li>Onion<\/li><li>Garlic<\/li><li>Sweet potato<\/li><li>New Zealand spinach (or any type of spinach or suitable green leafy vegetable)<\/li><li>Dried red chili (Optional)<\/li><li>Salt<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method<\/h2>\n\n<p>1. Add oil to pan on low heat until the oil is hot (but not smoking).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>2. Add in the chopped onion, then the garlic to soften up.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>3. Add the sweet potatoes. Fry for about 15mins or until the sweet potatoes soften up. Add a little water (between 0.2ml &#8211; 0.4ml). He is a keen seed banker, meaning he saves seeds for future planting, in particular heritage seeds.
