Apparemment, oui, si l\u2019on se fie aux r\u00e9actions des autorit\u00e9s des pays africains, qui, habituellement, n\u2019ont cure des protestations de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile, des d\u00e9fenseurs de la mer et autres lanceurs d\u2019alerte. Les communaut\u00e9s de p\u00eacheurs ouest-africains sont de plus en plus impact\u00e9es par ce commerce in\u00e9quitable qui profite aux grands industriels de la farine et de l&#8217;huile de poisson. Aujourd\u2019hui, elles sont plus de 50 usines \u00e0 produire de l\u2019huile et de la farine de poisson, au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, en Mauritanie et en Gambie. A titre d\u2019information, Cargill est une entreprise sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans la fourniture d&#8217;ingr\u00e9dients alimentaires et dans le n\u00e9goce de mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res. Son chiffre d\u2019affaires en 2014 \u00e9tait de 134,9 milliards de dollars am\u00e9ricains ! Au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, la p\u00eache fait vivre environ 600 000 S\u00e9n\u00e9galais selon l\u2019Institut d\u2019\u00e9tudes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 (ISS) dans son rapport 2016.
